Robert Wilkinson's Tri-Magnum

This is the email from Robert:

"This is a version of the Tri-magnum that I built. It has a '74 super beedle front suspension with pinto rack and pinion steering. An '86 Honda Goldwing powering it. I made an adaptor for a double pulley to the crankshaft and I'm running a 70 amp-hr alternator and a air conditioning compressor.

The crankshaft is very easy to get to. My friend machined an adaptor to fit just inside the gear that drives the cam belts with a key to fit and a double pulley bolts to it. It puts a big load on the engine. I don't run it much in stop and go traffic because you tend to kill the engine too easy on start off from a light. This is a regular car add-on air conditioner that mounts under the dash, bought from Classic Air in Tampa, FL. It looks like the old Mustang add-on under the dash. You can see the outlets in the picture of the inside. It really puts out the cold air. I have heard of small compressor that only takes 11/2hp, but I don't know where to find them. This one takes a lot more. The cost was a little over $1100, but it is all new stuff."
